We are a group of people who aim to make the dream of an ecovillage in Austria come true. Our goal is to create a community for 150 to 300 people living together on the path to peaceableness, sustainability and self-development.
Ecovillages demonstrate and develop sustainable and globally
feasible lifestyles. The globalization of our current
resource-intensive way of life is simply not possible. It
is therefore necessary to research and develop lifestyles that unify
both a high quality of life and sustainability.
In addition to these "global" goals, ecovillages offer their members a
place to develop as individuals within a nurturing social
setting. Ecovillages aim to be an example of how society´s
social cohesion can be strengthened while at the same time
rediscovering humanity’s place within the ecology of the earth.
